Maybe we should use these instances for future references in any situation we find ourselves in which involve us having to interact with the club.

Absolutely Baz. Although they have no shame, they probably won't care.

I don't suppose for one second they credited the group for the display?

Are you as a group on speaking terms with the Villa? Is there any interaction with the club at all?
For example. Some of our lads (VAK-P) have a regular meeting with people from FC Twente to discuss supporters affairs. Things like showing our huge displays, police performances and many more pass in these chats. But when we think that the club doesn’t take us serious anymore we leave the table and do the things our way. This happened many times but every time they came back to us. This is an position you also have to secure.
You as a group should be heard by the Villa. Personally I can’t take the Lions Clubs very serious. It’s all regulated by the club so there no objective sound from the supporters. A supporters club has to be independent. Only then they can really give their opinion on things. When we (VAK-P) think that FC Twente does not take us serious then we won’t talk to them anymore. Then we’ll do the things our way.
What’s your opinion about this?

At the start we had a meeting with the club and liaised with them on issues but recently we've found that the club hasn't been entirely helpful with regards to us securing our own section in the ground and some other issues regarding ticketing so we've cut contact for the time being. We'll have to address this in the future but for the time being we're happy with arrangements.
